Remarks & Notes
In a “once in a lifetime” shot for the photographer, a VTR detour train departs Waite Road at CPF477with five jaw dropping reds led by a former Boston & Maine GP40-2. The crew has just picked up the Pan Am EDSR interchange freight and will head back north on the Canadian Main to Whitehall NY. This is the only detour train the VTR ran south due to flooding damage caused by tropical storm Irene.
