Remarks & Notes
Anyone see ‘The Station Agent’? The NYS&W station at Newfoundland, NJ was constructed in 1872 and closed in 1944, although passenger service did not cease until 1966. But notoriety was brought to the structure by its staring role in the 2003 film ‘The Station Agent’. On Wednesday, January 2, 2019, the first SU-99 of the year passed with SD60 3808 in the lead.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
