After knocking down the signal at the J-130.1, the southbound CSX Q583-22 (Nashville,TN-Hamlet,NC) is making the long trek to Hamlet Yard. With the Precision Schedule Railroading concept, a lot of major changes has been made since the Hunter Harrison short lived era had took place at CSX two years ago. The manifest Q583 at one point terminated at the massive Tilford Classification Yard in Atlanta, GA, but since heavy operation in, and around Atlanta had down sized, Q583 terminus point had to be relocated to Hamlet, NC. With the company unpredictable climate where it's at, places like Atlanta which thrives from the railroad had result to the flat switching method. Trains that has once terminated or originated out of Tilford had since either being abolish, or relocated. New trains also has surface to fit with the Precision Schedule concept. The Q583, and it counterpart Q582 seem to be the replacement of the once ran Q676, and counterpart Q675 that has since been abolish when the new changes were made.
