The San Gabriel Mountains loom in the background (and 10,064' Mount San Antonio still has a little snow on it) as BNSF train Z-SBDALT9-21 (Priority UPS - LTL Intermodal, San Bernardino, California, to Alliance, Texas) winds its way down the "other" side of Cajon Pass as it passes the signals at Lugo, near Hesperia, California. A quintet of General Electric locomotives - BNSF ES44DC 7869, BNSF ET44C4 3881, BNSF ES44C4 8064, BNSF ES44C4 8101 and BNSF Dash 9-44CW 5444 - are in charge of this train, which at this point is about 31 miles into its eastward journey, on April 21, 2018.
