| CSX K602 would normally take the quicker former PRR Passaic and Harsimus line out to the Lehigh Line, but as luck would have it two CSX trains were combining in Kearny. Thus, the train ran via the National Docks and through Oak Island Yard out to the Lehigh Line instead. Here they take the curve at CP GREEN with the lower Manhattan skyline showing through the haze across the harbor. A rather rare occurrence for an even rarer leader in this part of the country. |
