As part of the Conway Scenic Railfan's Weekend, a special steam freight was operated originally south from North Conway to Conway, then switched at Conway, before making a trip back to North Conway and eventually Bartlett, NH. The "Valley Local Freight" is seen passing the B138 milepost near the Moat Brook at North Conway, NH on August 31, 2019. Led by the CSRX 0-6-0 #7470, the local showed off the services of the freight cars during the run, including log on flat car loading, ballast loading in hoppers, and box freight in boxcars.
