Railfanning tends to end up involving a great deal more time on the road than you ever intended. I had planned a 30 minute drive from home. This photograph is 2 1/2 hours of driving later (mostly because of traffic). The Union Pacific LOF67 Guadalupe Turn heads west, leaving Camarillo for Oxnard, with UP 2002, one of the Salt Lake City Olympic units in charge. Above it, the long extinct volcano Conejo Mountain looms large.
