| The imminent closure of the Andorra Thermal Power Plant has meant the end of the coal traffic that circulated along the branch that linked Samper with Andorra. Until its definitive closure, the energy company will survive with the accumulated coal reserves. Local authorities are now trying to maintain this branch, thinking of the arrival of new companies that provide some hope to a town that practically depended exclusively for the activity generated by the Thermal Power Plant. |
