Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 4014 and its 23-car passenger train have unloaded their passengers at the Barstow Amtrak station and the train is beginning to move again. As it does, the bit 4-8-8-4 steam locomotive barks some smoke out of its stack as steam escapes the generators and cylinders, ensuring no one is going to confuse this locomotive with a diesel.
