Autumn leaves glow in the light of Cumberland Mine's SD38-2 as it works it's way toward the end of the rails, dumping cars at the coal dumper at the Cumberland Harbor facility while day turns to night in rural Pennsylvania. Coal is dumped out of the train cars, loaded onto a barge and floated up the Monongahela River to a nearby power plant.
