Remarks & Notes
Once again, the RhB was short in tractive power, so the "old warhorses" Ge 6/6 II were put in the express train services. Ge 6/6 II # 704 "Davos", running for 54 years now, was pulling the Interregio 1148 from St.Moritz to Chur over the 65 meter high Landwasser viaduct near Filisur on the Albula line. In the rear of the train are 3 mail containers on special low load cars. During the month of September 2018, the viaduct was "adorned" with huge flags (10 x 10 metres) of Switzerland, the cantons of Basel-Landschaft, Basel-Stadt and Graubünden, which refer to an advertising campaign by Graubünden Ferien, the RhB and other partners. Guests from the two Basel half-cantons received various discounts this month in hotels, for consumption in restaurants, rides on the RhB, for mountain railway rides, etc.
