The Friendly Service Route. NJ Transit 4519 (ALP45DP) made its return to revenue service on Train 871 on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. As part of NJT’s 40th Anniversary, it was one of three engines to receive a heritage scheme, all celebrating predecessor railroads. Seen here at Hoboken Terminal, it is on its Erie Lackawanna “home rails” for the early morning run to Hackettstown, NJ.
