Remarks & Notes
Heave! Yard Hands Bryce Weeks and James Nobilini team up to turn the 33-ton Bridgton & Saco River Locomotive #7 on the Queen Post Turntable in the WW&F Museum's Sheepscot Yard, at the conclusion of Day 2 of the Maine 2-Foot Grand Reunion, which featured all 5 of the surviving steam locomotives from Maine's 24" gauge common carrier railroads. With a snowstorm bearing down on Coastal Maine, a formal night photo session, which had been scheduled for this evening had to be canceled when the production crew was understandably unable to attend due to the impending weather situation. Fortunately, two of the paid attendees at this event were Pete Lerro and John Craft, both of whom are experienced charter organizers. Pete had a few LED lights in his car as he had just returned from leading one of his lighthouse tours. With limited resources and not much time, Pete and John combined their talents to light several scenes, such as this one here, so that attending photographers could photograph the railroad crews servicing and putting the equipment away. The session concluded just as the snow began to fly, allowing photographers to get back to their hotels before the roads got too slippery.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
