| Conway Scenic 252 (ex-MEC GP38) and 4266 (ex-B&M F7) lead the Notch Train over Willey Brook in Hart's Location, NH. This was a nail-biter as the sun was quickly descending below the mountain behind me and the bridge was becoming shadowed. Luckily but unluckily, a small sliver of sun remained by the time the train crossed. This line was the famed Maine Central Railroad "Mountain Division" and having an engine leading that once rode these rails in regular service was a treat for sure. |
