At the diesel service racks in Alton & Southern’s Gateway Yard is a pair of former Missouri Pacific diesels: Union Pacific SD40-2 9890 (ex-UP 4137, ex-MP 3137, originally MP 838 and on an adjacent track is Alton & Southern GP38-2 2001 (ex-UP 2083, ex-MP 2083, nee-MP 932).
