South Shore Freight CSS 2003 (GP38-2, 1981) sits near Republic Steel in Gary, Indiana on Thursday, February 20, 2020 as the sunset complements the South Shore’s signature “traction orange”. Although other schemes have started to enter the mix due to the increasing freight business, the former Insull line’s color is still the fan favorite.
