The Limited Lake Shore. The Amtrak Lake Shore Limited (Train 48-02) was an early arrival from Chicago, IL into New York’s Penn Station on the evening of Friday, April 3, 2020. Phase III P32AC-DM 712 leads a four act consist of an AmFleet II coach, Viewliner II Diner, Viewliner II Sleeper, and Viewliner II baggage car down the Empire Connection past the George Washington Bridge. The reduced consist is a sign of the drastic reduction in ridership.
