| Two former veteran ex-Conrail SD40-2s thunder south past CP-102 with a heavy Oak Island bound freight out of Selkirk Yard. Some of the older war wagon EMD power has been pressed into road duty as the need arises. With the railroad mostly a Gevo powered event, such sights as these become weekend “events” to capture among the River Sun faithful. The head end autos behind the CSXT 8833 & 8801 is a recent new development with this train starting last week as solid auto trains have been abolished for now. |
