| With a bonus cancelled school day, we ventured out into the Iowa winter landscape. We made an afternoon on the UP's Clinton Sub between Blairstown and Belle Plaine. Traffic was light as we only seen 7 eastbounds between 12-5pm, and **NO** westbounds. Here the Council Bluffs to Proviso junker has a bunch of power moving east. The train passes some of the neat things in Belle Plaine which is the old 180 foot depot to the left and this ex-CN&W caboose to the right. |
