Texas Gonzales and Northern GP7 102 was built by EMD in October 1950 for the St. Luis-San Francisco Railroad as their number 528. Chicago & North Western purchased it from the Frisco, chopped its nose and numbered it 4445. From the C&NW it found its way to leasing company GWRX (still 4445), and then to the South Orient Railroad as number 102. The SO sold it to Texas Rock Crusher Railway (CXR 102) and then it became TXGN 102. (Harwood, Texas – October 27, 2016) Photographed on railroad property with permission and full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
