With the morning sun rising over the eastern parries, a pair of BNSF GEs motors descend down the Palmer Divide on empty grain shuttle as they traverse the last 45 miles of the trip into Denver. In the background, rain clouds from the previous night linger in front of Pikes Peak; standing at 14,115 feet tall.
