The Grafton & Upton Railroad once operated in Milford, MA but the line extension had been abandoned and later pulled up. This year, there was renewed interest in extending the line and it was completed this week. The Golden Spike ceremony for this completed extension (ahead of schedule) was on June 18, 2020. As a thank you to all involved, a short excursion over the new track in Milford up to Hopedale was completed using the G&U signature colored caboose, GU100.
