| A nice summer evening in the Flint Hills of East-Central Kansas nears sundown as a BNSF Z train takes the short way to Kansas City going east up the Emporia Subdivision. Due to the continuous double track work, a large amount of excavated limestone has been piled up on top of the hill overlooking the Highway 177 and the BNSF mainline. |
