Remarks & Notes
Brill-ing in BA. On a sweltering Sunday, January 16, 2005 former Porto, Portugal Brill car 252 sits on Emilio Mitre in Buenos Aires, Argentina during a day of public operations at the museum. This car never operated in revenue service in Buenos Aires, but was imported for the museum and painted in a scheme similar to what cars of that era wore by the Asociación Amigos del Tranvía (and renumbered 652). The last tram operated in service in BA in 1964, the museum's first operation was in 1980. While the current challenges have prevented much of the planned public activity for the year so far, the museum is still very active and has expanded and maintained its collection.
