The St.Joe Sub is the line that runs from Lincoln, NE, to Kansas City, MO. This area between Rulo and Fortescue, MO, has been hit hard by the constant flooding of the Missouri River in 2019. Here a loaded grain train out of Creston, IA, passes by the Big Lake area as a hungry seagull also passes by. As you can see many roads and houses are still damaged and not occupied from the flooding. The place looked somewhat like a war zone. Some roads were flooded around Nebraska City for 124 days in 2019. There is tons of work being done to restore roads, levees, and bridges back in early 2020.
