Although once one of the primary engines for the Grand Canyon Railway, the 6776 now sits in retirement at the depot at Grand Canyon Village. Having suffered a mechanical failure, the railway opted not to repair the unit as they now roster a fleet of former Amtrak F40PH locomotives. The 6776 was originally built for the Canadian National Railway in February 1959.
