Since a few days only, the first doubledeck Intercity/Interregio train entirely formed by rebuilt "IC2020" cars is circulating between Lucerne and Constance. IR 2121 of the line IR75 from Lucerne via Zürich-Weinfelden to Constance, with Re 460 # 054 shoving in the rear, can be seen between Winterthur and Oberwinterthur. The train is formed as follows: Cab car Bt2E 26-94 # 939 with family compartment and multifunction area, second class cars B2E 26-94 # 039, # 017, # 045, # 081 and # 073, first class cars A2E 16-94 # 046 and # 021, first class with baggage compartment AD2E 86-94 # 003. The entire fleet of the 341 "IC2000" cars will be rebuilt to "IC2020" in the next years in the SBB industrial work of Olten.
