"Pup Rental Services at Deer Park" Long Island Rail Road Extra 157 passes by Deer Park station on the Main Line with New York & Atlantic Railway SW1001 #101) in tow during the late night hours of January 11th, 2021. The 101 was briefly borrowed by the LIRR and is now on the way to Brookhaven Rail Terminal via Pineaire to act as a substitute while the Terminal's Railserve "LEAF" Genset (RSSX #3766) receives repairs. This is the first time a SW1001 has traveled on LIRR's Main Line east of Hillside in several years.
