Remarks & Notes
After decoupling from the inbound train at North Bennington, Vermont, VTR train RDHJ (Rutland - Hoosick Jct turn) backed down the short Bennington spur to pickup a cut of tank cars. The train is seen here passing Lake Paran with an impressive 5 unit lashup lead by VTR EMD GP38-3 number 206. The large lashup was needed to pulling the long interchange train north from Hoosick Junction.
