Remarks & Notes
After tying down the train just north of here to give themselves room to switch the next morning, the power of Job 102 runs engine lite to the shop several hundred feet behind me to call it a day. With 21 loaded cars in tow, one of the bigger trains to have come south from Whitestone, the 4 engines, with 2.5 of them being 567 prime movers (4631 has 645 power assemblies), I knew I would be in for a good show with this rather literal "Throwback Thursday" of a power consist that harkens back to the days before Patriot Rail. But boy, was I proven wrong, because from Talking Rock to Jasper, these 4 motors legitimately put on one of the best shows of noise I've ever gotten to experience.
