Day Draws To A Close as Construction Starts. NJ TRANSIT Train 3255 crossed River Draw (Raritan Bay River Draw Bridge) from Perth Amboy to South Amboy, New Jersey on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 with ALP46A 4636 (Pennsylvania Railroad Tribute). After sustaining significant damage during Hurricane Sandy, construction for replacing this 1908 bridge began with a groundbreaking ceremony on September 15, 2020. The cranes and barges are constructing a parallel span, which is projected to be completed in 2026.
Photos from across RP of NJ Transit’s 40th Anniversary specially painted & wrapped units.

Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
