CSX Track Geometry Train W003-05, which is the one that features their unique GP40WH-2 that came from MARC, emerges from Chetoogeta Mountain Tunnel as it heads north for Chattanooga. The train was also featuring one of the two un-rebuilt F40PH's, the 9999 in this case, as well. I guess it was to serve as the power car, but it wasn't even running from the (lack of) sound from it, so who knows. I have heard the rumor (key word, there) that CSX plans to use the unrebuilt F40PH's, the other being the 9992, as the power for the Geometry trains. If that's true, then it likely means the end is in site for this unique, but troublesome engine.
