Decommissioned by Norfolk Southern in October of 2002, this is "DB Draw", a swing bridge built in 1889 by the New York, Lake Erie and Western Railroad. The NY, LE&W was later reorganized in 1895 as the Erie Railroad. In its later years, this bridge over the Hackensack River carried NJT's Boonton Line trains until the line was connected to the Montclair Branch via the Montclair Connection. No longer needed by NJT, the bridge reverted to NS which has since placed it out of service.
