Remarks & Notes

GTW train 451 is on its Detroit to Durand leg and seen using the center track at Birmingham. This station was the only high level platform station between Harrisburg PA and Gary In (at the time). Trains handling dimensional loads that would not clear the platforms had to use the center track. Caboose GTW 79189 brings up the rear.
