A westbound BNSF coal train off the Montana Rail Link at Sandpoint Junction, Idaho, passes the depot at Sandpoint on the afternoon of September 30, 2021. BNSF is double-tracking the line through here, and some substantial work will have to be done to clear the depot, most likely involving building a retaining wall on the right to make more space for the second track.
