| The larches are now brown/orange rather than yellow, and they are in the process of shedding the needles. "Allegra" railcar ABe 8/12 # 3504 of the Rhaetian Railway is pulling the train PE 951 BERNINA EXPRESS with 5 panorama cars from Chur over the Albula and Bernina line to Tirano, leaving the Bever valley. The "Allegra" will change in Pontresina from the 11000 V 16,7 Hz AC system to the 1000 V DC of the Bernina line. |
