The Beer Railroad: Digging through old photos, it seems that in my youth, I spent lots of time at the "Manny", which was owned by the Anheuser-Busch brewery in South St. Louis. MRS was a neat little industrial operation with a rich history. On Friday the 13th, under a volatile sky (usually a sign of ripe conditions for severe weather in the spring), 255 and her crew go about switching the lower yard at the foot of Arsenal St. The MRS yard was laid out in a very strange way, and was built into and on top of hills in many spots.
