| Electric locomotive Ge 4/4 #81 of the Bernina Railway pulling the "Bernina Winterzauber" special train between Ospizio Bernina and Alp Grüm with the frozen Lago Bianco in the background.
This locomotive was built in 1916 as Ge 2x3/3 #81 for the independent Bernina Railways. She was taken out of service in 1964 and has been property of the Blonay-Chamby Museum Railroad (Western Switzerland) since 1970. She is now back on its original tracks as a guest locomotive, what an impressive sight! |
