| A late 337 train accelerates out of the Waspi River Valley west of Independence on this frosty morning. The daily Kirk Yard to Waterloo freight train normally gets into Waterloo overnight, but today the train is still 31 miles from destination at sunrise. 2 units struggle along as the train has a fair amount of loads for points in western Iowa or for interchange to the Iowa Northern in Waterloo. |
