As westbound Amtrak Wolverine 353 (Pontiac to Chicago) makes its stop at the Hammond-Whiting Station, another Wolverine, train 352 (Chicago to Pontiac, behind IDTX SC-44 "Charger" 4620) rushes past heading east. (Train 353 stops here, but train 352 does not.) Hammond-Whiting is one of only two stops that that Wolverines make in Indiana at this time, but the other stop, Michigan City, was removed from the schedule on April 4, 2022.
