Remarks & Notes
NESQUEHONING THUNDER!!!! A sight and sound that needs to be experienced in person to truly be appreciated, former Reading T-1 #2102 tears apart the town of Nesquehoning, PA on its way back to Reading, PA. The area to the left was the former KME plant where they built fire trucks, and the light tower was origninally from Lehighton Yard (per information provided to me while waiting for the train. The company purchased it, and used it to test the pumps on the trucks. The plant was sold to the Reading & Northern who plan to use the family as a car repair shop. The chase/pace pack to the right adds a nice touch to the scene as well.
