Remarks & Notes
Open-Air. New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) BU Gate Car no. 1402 (Jewett, 1907) is seen leading a three-car train through Neck Rd station on the Brighton Line during the NY Transit Museum's Parade of Trains. These cars feature open platforms on their ends, on which passengers used to be able to ride. For reasons I'm unaware of, this practice was not continued in 2022, so riders could only experience the blowing breeze from the open windows and doors.
