| Re 420 # 109 (Re 4/4 II # 11109) of the SBB in the Swiss Express paint scheme (the only operational left), rented to the Chemins de Fer du Jura/Jura Railways (CJ) for about 2 weeks, is entering St-Ursanne with the sugar beet train 69441 from Alle Cargo via Porrentruy to Delémont. The train with 8 loaded Eas cars is leaving the 228 meter long Château tunnel. From Delémont, the sugar beets will be transported to the Aarberg sugar works in a much more longer train during the following night. The locomotive was taken over by the SBB on march 10th, 1967 and is more then 55 years in service now. Since 1975, the # 11109 has the nice lightgrey/orange "Swiss Express"-paint scheme. |
