| A mid-morning view from atop Tunnel 1 on Union Pacific's Moffat Tunnel Subdivision sees a ten-unit UP M-NYGJ looping around the side of the mountain below. The manifest has just mounted the iconic "Big 10 Loops" and now begins its westbound journey through the Rockies to Grand Junction, UT. This would be the first of three back-to-back-to-back westbounds to leave Denver that morning, a very rare occurrence on the Moffat now days. The traffic, scenery and perfect weather made for a great start to the day. |
