This was actually my first shot of the new VIA Rail Siemens Venture train set, and I almost missed it because it was so silent I did not hear it approaching, gliding past like a ghost. But luckily the track speed on the Montreal sub at Saint-Henri, crossing the Lachine Canal, is not too high, so this scene of the return trip to Montreal after an excusrion to Ottawa could be captured after all.
