Jackson can be a hot bed of activity at times. This is where the CN's Mainline of Mid-America crosses the KCS Meridian Speedway. Here we have 3 trains all fighting to get thru Switchtender, which the the big junction on the southside of Jackson. The Vicksburg Turn local LJV101 and a loaded oil train U756 wait on this 12,000 foot MARSH to get across. The U756 will go to the KCS behind the local and tied down. The oil train is heading to the Alabama Southern Railroad at Artesia, MS, bound for Tuscaloosa. Seems to be a common move between CN and KCS.
