Remarks & Notes
Seeing one of the last GP9RM in active duties is always a special treat, plus the right conditions for a good portrait. 4115 was originally built as CN 4322 by GMD in 1959, remanufactured in 1984 at the Pointe-Saint-Charles shops in Montreal. Part of CN's GR-418d class, which designates it as a "R"oad Switcher, in contrast to other GP9RM in the 7000 series which belong to either the GS (Switching) or GY (Yard) classes. 4115 just left Turcot Ouest and is about to diverge onto the Canal Bank spur to lift emty grain cars from a local client.
