In the flat Red River valley, a few miles east of the Minnesota/North Dakota border, lies the tiny town of Nashua, MN. Unremarkable to most people (aside from the 67 residents, I suppose), it sits near the place where the former Soo Line crosses the former Great Northern, making it a worthwhile place for a railfan to stop on a nice spring day to record the passage of an eastbound BNSF train banging across the diamonds.
