I live only a few miles from where this happened. Did the diesels derail, and has anyone found out what caused the derailment? Thanks for sharing this shot

The engines and the first half of the train did not derail, in fact the news reports stated that the crew had no idea their train was derailed until it went into emergency. As far as the cause, I heard some early talk of possibly a rolled rail bieng the culprit but I never heard what was determined as the final cause or if they even have one yet. The derailment scene is interesting in the fact that a lot of the cars appear to still be coupled together and in a straight line down the side of the tracks like they all just moved over there together. I suppose they could also have been placed there in a line during the cleanup process because I didn't get to witness the original aftermath to know either way. Thanks for looking!
