Anyone know the heritage of this unit?

It was Georgia Railroad 1026 and was built for the Georgia Railroad in 10-50. The engine was retired in 8-83 shortly after the Georgia RR was bought by Seaboard System. It was then sold to the Wiregrass Central RR and was in service there still painted in the GA RR dip job black scheme until bought by the Southeastern Railway Museum. It was sent to TVRM to be repainted into its as delivered paint scheme
